We’re celebrating our trajectory in the Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching!
Every year, the White House and the National Science Foundation recognize teachers from around the United States who excel in mathematics and science teaching. We are proud of our STEM teachers who have formed part of this select group on multiple occasions over the years.
- Mrs. Myriam Medina was recognized by the President of the United States in 2017 as an Awardee in the 7th-12th grade Science Teachers cohort.
- Mr. Bradly Rivera was selected as 2021 State Finalist in the 7th-12th grade Mathematics Teachers cohort and is currently awaiting the final awardees’ selection news.
- This year we celebrate the selection of Mr. Gaddiel Ayala as 2022 State Finalist in the Kinder-6th grade Science Teachers cohort. Gaddiel is also awaiting the final awardees’ selection news.
