In grades 4 to 6, our International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) in Upper Elementary School builds upon the strong foundation of the early grades. In preparation to compete in an ever-changing world, our Academic program is enhanced by formal exploration of 21st century learning opportunities in Lab Sciences, STEM, and Computer Skills as part of the curriculum. Throughout the Upper Elementary years, students continue to develop as risk takers, reflective learners, and assertive communicators, leading to the PYP Exhibition Project during the 6th grade year. The Exhibition Project is an eight-month, student-led collaborative effort where teams of students employ empathy, research, and action to develop an outcome in an area of personal interest that generates a positive community and/or global impact. Through this project, students put into practice the skills they acquire throughout the Elementary years and pave their way to Middle School. Robinson Upper Elementary students are principled and caring citizens who appreciate and understand the world around them.
